On behalf of Rohde Nielsen, MARPRO Group is looking for a Marine Superintendent to the office in Grenaa.

The job

As a Marine Superintendent you will play a important role within Fleet Operations in Technical Department, reporting directly to the Head of Fleet Operations. Fleet Operations ensure that the vessels sail 24/7 and that the project department always have the most up-to-date fleet they can offer to the market. 

You will be responsible for overseeing shipowner and vessel certifications, audits, as well as 2nd and 3rd party inspections. You will act as a key stakeholder in ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all fleet activities, contributing to the strategic direction and continuous improvement of their maritime operations.

We are looking for an individual with experience ideally from similar roles, who will actively contribute to the company's growth, particularly in expanding offshore activities. You will need to strategically balance this expansion with the company’s core operations in the dredging industry.

You will drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of our operational systems while ensuring the highest level of service to their vessels. This role demands a forward-thinking mindset and a strong ability to integrate new processes and technologies and hands-on expertise.

Professional competencies required for this role

• An education as Master Mariner or Dual Officer
• Preferably with min. a couple of years sailing experience
• Preferably experience from classification of vessels
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
