About the department
In External Affairs, we lay the foundation for strong relationships with external stakeholders and optimise patients’ access to products across our portfolio. As access is increasingly important for the commercial success of our products, a key challenge is to get decision makers across health systems to support funding of innovative medicines. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we establish strategies and tactics for engagement with stakeholders in the European health systems such as payers, policy makers and HTA bodies and subsequently support the implementation in collaboration with our local counterparts.
