Marketing Automation Manager (Maternity Cover)

The role 

We are looking for a maternity cover for our fantastic Marketing Automation Manager to join our Marketing team in Copenhagen.  

As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns while also managing and optimizing our Customer Data Platform, Bloomreach. This dual-role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking with hands-on experience in marketing automation, campaign management, and data analysis. 

You will report to our Director of Customer Lifecycle Management. 

What you’ll do 

• Develop, execute, and optimize email campaigns  

• Develop and maintain email marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns. 

• Develop, execute and optimize email automations 

• Manage and maintain the Customer Data Platform (Bloomreach) together with our MarTech teams and Performance Marketing 

• Use data insights from the CDP to inform and refine email marketing strategies. 

• Segment audiences and tailor marketing messages to specific customer groups to maximize engagement and conversion. 

• Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future marketing efforts. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Brand and Communication, Paid Media, Web, Customer Success, etc) to create cohesive and effective marketing tactics 

• Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep our marketing efforts innovative and effective. 

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) in email marketing activities. 

What we are looking for 

• Masters’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

• 3 years of experience in marketing automation, email marketing, or a similar role. 

• Proficiency with email marketing and CDPs (ideally Bloomreach) 

• Great analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices. 

• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

• Understanding of email deliverability best practices and strategies. 

• Proficiency in English 

The practicalities 

• We’d love for you to start October 1, 2024 (at the latest) 

• The maternity cover is for 12 months – can potentially be extended
