As Sara is adding a new member to her family, we are looking for a Marketing Manager who is eager to join a Tiger Team supporting our partners in the IMEA region (India, Middel East, Africa). The temporary position is initially for 9 months (starting January 2025), with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will take charge of marketing by executing the global marketing strategy and plans across the franchise markets in the region.

 

You will be reporting directly to our Regional Director, IMEA and you will work from Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s office (HQ) in Strandgade, Copenhagen. 

You will be a part of a newly established team in a professional and informal environment. Our regional setup is new and you will therefore play an active role in developing and maturing the regional team.

 

This is the job:

You will be the main marketing point of contact between the franchise partners and the global organization to drive brand awareness, cascade marketing guidelines/standards, and lead the development of local marketing plans, Including offline and digital marketing elements. And more specifically:

Marketing strategy and execution

  • Help build the brand in the region by guiding implementation and maintaining strong and consistent brand identity across markets
  • Assist planning and in developing the annual marketing and budget that are in line with global marketing objectives
  • Identifying the marketing needs for each market and support translating this into a local marketing strategy
  • Sign off local marketing activities in line with brand standards and guidelines
  • Ensure Franchisee marketing budget are aligned and spent according to obligations and brand priorities
  • Deploy new campaigns and ensure implementation and execution with 360-degree activation to maximize our launches offline and digital
  • Drive monthly marketing review and reporting to evaluate marketing performance and execution
  • Provide market support to grow strong partner relationships with marketing teams and drive enthusiasm and ensuring successful execution and strategies locally
  • Drive creation of market launch and first store opening plan in new markets together with the franchisee

Marketing Training/On-boarding

  • On-board new franchisees and new members of franchisees to our marketing concept and guidelines
  • Train franchisees on our ways of operating, marketing campaigns, and guidelines
  • Ensure franchisee has all knowledge and equipment to train stores on marketing concept

 

This is you:

We are looking for a committed and aspiring colleague. We expect that you have experience working with Marketing at a retailer/commercial department, and preferably with some understanding from working with a franchise concept. You are used to working with many stakeholders in a global environment and you enjoy building connections and communicating across the organization. We see it as a great advantage that you are familiar with the Middle East, maybe you have been working with or living in the region. 

Professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business administration etc.
  • Min. 5 - 7 years relevant work experience from a commercial/retail department
  • Commercial acumen/awareness, including in the digital space
  • Experience working with different cultures and markets
  • Being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Fluent in English verbally and written

  • Flexible, pragmatic, and positive attitude
  • Ability to connect, build relations and communicate effectively
  • Ability to engage, motivate and mobilize internal and external teams
  • Great organizational skills and ability to perform and adapt to a high demand, time-sensitive, fast-paced changing environment 
  • Enjoys working with different cultures in a global environment
