The position

As a Master Data Engineer, you will support the creation of basic data and master data in the different systems. This is not a typical Master Data position, you will start at the design phase as part of the logistics team, which means that you will collaborate with users and team members to obtain the information to create basic data. Your goal is to ensure standardization in the logistics system structure.

We work in a big project, so we need your best cross-functional skills to interact with the different stakeholders from different functions like Logistics, IT, Automation, Robotics, Processes and Raw Material Professionals. We also need to have continuous coordination with your other colleagues in the logistics team that will be working in similar topics in the same project. It is key that you are curious and have a high attention to details and quality.

The position will be transitioning from basic data creation to master data creation according to the project stages.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Some years of experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management systems, with a preference for experience with SAP EWM. Other relevant systems could be SAP, D365, Oracle, IFS, AX, SAP 4HANNA.
• Strong expertise in master data creation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

Furthermore, you can work collaboratively with users and logistics professionals to gather information and create data. You have a clear understanding of warehouse structures and logistics tasks are able to create basic data for different warehouses and logistics systems. It is important that you have a good understanding of the systems infrastructure where data is created.

Collaboration is key in this role, and you will work with cross-functional teams, including internal consultants, other professionals, and project managers.

You will be joining PS API Expansions. The area is anchored in Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 30,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees. 

PS API Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major API Expansions projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients.

We build and design our future API facilities as multi-product facilities with flexibility to accommodate future processes and display state-of-the-art technology and working environment. We focus on delivering the highest quality to patients globally in an efficient and environmentally sustainable way.
