The Position

As a Master Data (MD) Professional, you will be the MD expert responsible for ensuring high quality MD within operational master data tasks and processes. You will work close together with both MD colleagues across the organisation and stakeholders locally in the department ensuring high quality MD processes and maintenance for running business. Your contribution will be key for securing a strong foundation of MD in an ever-changing supply chain to enable future digitalisation.

Your primary responsibility will be the governance and maintenance of Master Data within the department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing and maintaining procedures and processes for continuous master data maintenance, while ensuring proper end-user training.
• Regularly communicating with and providing support to supply planners across the department.
• Monitoring and improving the quality of master data, ensuring ongoing enhancements.
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis of master data and developing new standards for its use, maintenance, and procedures in SAP ECC.
• Collaborating as part of a team of two master data stewards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) within a supply chain function is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with material master data operational tasks, including hands-on experience, (maintenance tasks), as well as processes and user guides is beneficial.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and experience in process optimization are both advantageous, though not required.

It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have familiarity with SAP, Excel and speak Danish.

About the department

Raw Material Supply Planning is part of Inbound Supply Management, in Sourcing Operations. The team is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing warehouse stock levels for the thousands of raw materials going into Novo Nordisk production sites worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure a reliable supply of Raw Materials in compliance to the high-quality standards set by the Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.

You will join a dynamic team of 13 employees who are responsible for supply planning, master data (creation & maintenance), and process optimizations. We are currently based in Bagsværd, but we would also like to inform you that in January 2026, the team will change its location to our new offices in Høje Taastrup.
