Your role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work together with an experienced team, handling the preparation of mechanical and hydraulic design of customized water treatment solutions.
Our customers include the food and hospital industry, energy sectors in Denmark and other parts of Europe, where we deliver complete solutions for among others, boiler water, district heating water, and water for hydrogen production. With a broad product range, you can expect to be involved in many different projects.
After an order has been handed over from the Sales department, your responsibility will be to prepare the process and mechanical design according to the function of the plant, build quality, and costs. Thereby, you will have an important role in ensuring that we are able to deliver high-quality products that meet our customer's needs.
Your daily work will be at our headquarters facilities in Stilling, Skanderborg. Here, we have gathered some of the main functions, including the production, giving you the opportunity to walk directly from the office and into the production and follow the process: from drawing to finished product.
Your main responsibilities
You can also expect to collaborate closely with other departments, as you, with your expertise knowledge, will support Projects Managers and Sales Engineers in the process of delivering customized solutions and provide technical guidance to other departments, including Production and Purchasing, when needed.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background. You might have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar. Preferably, you have a few years’ work experience. However, prior industry experience is not essential. What matters most is your passion for water treatment and willingness to learn. We will provide the necessary training to equip you with the required knowledge and skills. Although, it is an advantage if you have experience using Inventor and SAP.
To succeed in the role we find it important that you are good at planning and prioritizing your tasks. You have a natural attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. You possess great communication and collaboration skills. It is also necessary that you can speak and write both Danish and English fluently.
