At Weibel you will join a family-owned company that develops and produces state of the art radar systems. We have a full scale inhouse production facility with a modern machine park, making it possible to explore new solutions in close collaboration with our production team without compromising quality. Your main responsibility will be to design and verify the mechanical structures supporting the electronic antenna arrays. We work with prototyping – using our large in-house metal workshop and polymer 3D printer to reach our design goals.
Your primary tasks will be:
You have a degree in mechanical engineering and experience with development, production and qualification of complex systems. You have experience with mechanical modularization and design of milled and turned metal parts. Furthermore, you have knowledge of the challenges that comes with designing mechanical systems for harsh environments – from the arctic to the desert.
Since there is a lot of dependencies between the tasks in our team, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in close collaboration with their colleagues. You have the ability to seek out knowledge from your colleagues when task requires it while at the same time being able to work independently on other tasks.
Furthermore, you have experience with CAD tools e.g. Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
You will join our mechanic team of 9 highly competent and dedicated colleagues, who look forward to welcoming you. We are a part of Weibel’s Antenna group where you will get more than 40 engineering colleagues, that work with everything from mechanics, power solutions, microwave technology to analog and digital hardware. We have created it in this way, because we whole-heartedly believe that bringing people with different competencies together early in the design process will generate the best solutions.
