Two-Stroke Engine Support
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our Two-Stroke Engine Support in Copenhagen. As our new employee, you will be part of the Engine Support function working in the Cylinder Condition department (ELUC) with a team of 10 dedicated colleagues. The Engine Support function holds a central position in our Engineering and R&D structure. The department is central in reporting into the organisation from attendance on-board vessels, engine builders, and cooperating with ship operators and our licensees.
The position involves working on engine cylinder performance, follow up, troubleshooting on our newest generation of engines, correspondence with operators and engine builders, coordination, and handling of service test, as well as participation in various in-house projects.
You will have a unique chance to be part of the development of the Two-Stroke Engines of the future, securing cleaner emissions and ensuring environment improved propulsion for the merchant navy, joining the front line of moving the maritime industry into the future green fuels.
The position will offer travel activity, mainly in EU but also worldwide up to 120 days per year.

You will be working in a team of 10 colleagues specializing on cylinder combustion chamber wear parts and cylinder lubrication, and you will be working in close cooperation with our R&D department within these areas.
Our tasks include arranging service tests of new components, installing them, and carrying out follow-up visits. Handling warranty correspondence is also part of our daily tasks, assisting owners/operators and licensees.
We work together as a team, discussing difficult cases over the tables in the office, and securing internal coordination of jobs coming up.
