The Position
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of new production facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards such as ASME and BPE, and best practices.
Selecting appropriate materials for construction, considering compatibility and durability.
Managing and contributing to global projects, adapting designs to regional requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to timelines.
Supporting the organization in any means regarding Engineering Standards and components engineering specifications.
Streamlining design and setting technical guidelines in multiple locations for future efficiency in technical development.
This position will involve collaborating with our global sites. To facilitate this, some travel would be expected, which is estimated at 3-5 trips per year.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in Mechanical & Piping design and development or similar.
Strong understanding of requirements in regards to ASME, BPE and other codes, regulations, and best practices.
In-depth knowledge of hygienic design practices within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in project management, overseeing large-scale projects, both in the design and execution phase.
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Understanding of GMP requirements.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the Department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, where we are responsible for capacity expansion with AP and FP production. Our task is dedicated to designing, planning, and building new capacity across Novo Nordisk to meet the needs of millions of patients. We are at the forefront of rethinking drug product facilities, utilizing modern technology and setting the standards for the future of drug product production.
