The Position
As a MES Automation Engineer, you will secure implementations of our standard modern Manufacturing Execution System, PAS-X, and help us achieve our key ambition to move from paper to digital processes. You will ensure that the work is executed according to our validation setup and be part of testing the solutions. Later, you will be part of the organisation that maintains and develops the solution for future needs.
You will be responsible for:
Your main location will be in Kalundborg, in close proximity of the manufacturing sites. As a lot of our collaboration partners work around Copenhagen, it is expected that you will also travel to work in those locations.
The project is of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk, which has high visibility and support from Senior Management. At the same time, you will have a foot inside Novo Nordisk’s IT organization which supports all major expansion projects as well as operations.

About the department
The IT and Automation Department is made up diverse team made up of individuals with a variety of nationalities and professional experiences. The team atmosphere is very inclusive and the team members support each other in getting acclimated to Novo Nordisk and life in Kalundborg. You will find the team inviting and collaborative in finding solutions and supporting each other’s tasks. Due to the fast pace of project life, our team is very dynamic and is able to shift priorities in order to support project milestones.
