Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool is an integrated international preschool/ kindergarten in Copenhagen, Denmark, approved by kommunes (municipalities) . We currently have two locations in different parts of the Copenhagen area. Our program is inspired by Highscope and Montessori pedagogical frameworks. Montessori educator:
Tinytots International Daycare and Preschool in Copenhagen, Denmark is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Montessori Educator.
Only candidates trained and certified in Montessori pedagogy from accredited Montessori Training Institutes will be considered for this position.
It is essential that you are a natural team player, a proactive person who takes responsibility and ownership of the tasks and you are flexible when it comes to responsibilities and tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Planning of activities and lessons and implementation within overall curriculum framework
• Hands-on guidance and modelling for teachers and assistants.
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe on continuous basis
• Observation and recording of children’s growth, development and behaviour
• Build good, open and constructive communication with children, families, administration and staff
Language, education and experience requirements:
• High level fluency in English (Minimum C1 level; IELTS band 7.5 and above) is required.
• Training and certification in Montessori pedagogy and atleast 3 years of hands-on experience in implementation of Montessori pedagogy is required. Certification in Montessori pedagogy for 3-6 years will be preferred.
• Atleast 3 years’ of teaching experience in kindergarten is required
• Bachelors degree in Education / Early Childhood Education is preferred
• Demonstrable experience in Positive Behaviour Management is required
Personal Qualities:
• Creative and truly passionate to work with children while being extremely patient and caring
• Can engage and extend the children’s learning through play
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Great team player while can also work independently
• Person who is culturally sensitive and thrives in truly international environment
• Enthusiastic and flexible to share tasks typical for a small but dynamic organisation

Work-visa: Work visa can be sponsored for the right candidate (non-EU candidate needs to have Bachelors degree in education / early childhood education to qualify for work visa sponsorship)
