Montessori Lead Teacher:
Tinytots International Daycare and Preschool in Copenhagen, Denmark is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator as Montessori Lead Teacher. Lead Teacher is a member of the Leadership team in Tinytots.
It is essential that you are a natural team player, a proactive person who takes responsibility and ownership of the tasks and you are flexible when it comes to responsibilities and tasks.
Responsibilities:
Montessori Lead Teacher’s role is divided between curriculum and administration.
• Plan and oversee the implementation of the curriculum and annual wheel for activities and events. Ensure all planning and implementation are complete according to the planned schedule.
• Ensure hands-on guidance for the teachers and assistant teachers, together with our Lead Curriculum Trainer
• Monitor and ensure that the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe on a continuous basis
• Prepare Children Assessment Reports/ Recommendations for school leaving children
• Assist director in taking admission/ parent visits and visits from authorities
• Assist Parent Committee and director to coordinate events in the center
• Responsible, together with the director, for team building and well-being for the center. Ensure a cohesive, responsible team culture to drive smooth functioning of the center
• Communication and promotion for the center in social media and external media
Language, education and experience requirements:
Must have:
• High level fluency in English (Minimum C1 level; IELTS band 7.5 and above)
• Bachelor’s degree in education / early childhood education and/ or recognised teaching qualification
• 4-5 years’ of teaching experience in kindergarten / school (early years), with atleast 2 years of experience in leading teams
• Demonstrable experience in Positive Behaviour Management
Advantageous:
• Applicants trained and certified in Montessori pedagogy and have atleast 3 years of hands-on experience in implementation of Montessori pedagogy will be given preference

• Flexible and proactive when it comes to responsibilities and tasks typical for a small but dynamic organisation. Takes ownership for timely completion of activities
• Creative and truly passionate to work with children while being extremely patient and caring
• Can engage and extend the children’s learning through play
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Great team player while can also work independently
• Person who is culturally sensitive and thrives in truly international environment

Work-visa: Work visa can be sponsored for the right candidate (non-EU candidates need to have Bachelors degree in education / early childhood education to qualify for work visa sponsorship)
