NEXUS Implementation Manager

NEXUS is developed in-house by a team of skilled software developers and product managers. We continuously add new features based on feedback from various stakeholders. To ensure we fully realize the business benefits, we need a dedicated individual to focus on the seamless implementation of new features and process optimization across the organization—both at sea and ashore.

Your Role: Make an Impact

This is a new role within our software application development team. The team is responsible for creating business-relevant applications that align with our organizational goals. You will act as a liaison between the crew and shore personnel, ensuring the system is used effectively and gathering input for further enhancements.

This position is based in our Copenhagen office, working closely with product managers, while the development team is located in our Indian offices. You will play a vital role in shaping product strategy alongside the Product Managers.

Some travel activity to our offices and vessels must be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for users across the entire TORM organization, ensuring NEXUS is used efficiently.
• Ensure users are well-equipped to understand and use NEXUS efficiently
• Development of onboarding materials, guides, tutorials and best practice resources.
• Conducting webinars, training and participating in officer’s seminars.
• Advocate for users by gathering and communicating feedback, feature requests, and requirements to the product managers.
• Collaborate with product managers to provide user insights, prioritize feature improvements, and support user-centered design initiatives.
• Keep users informed on project progress, timelines, and status.
• Work closely with Product Managers to align product strategy with organizational needs.

Your Profile

We’re looking for a NEXUS Software Implementation Manager who thrives in a global, collaborative environment and can bring operational and technical expertise to the team.

To succeed in this role, you bring

• At least ten years of experience from the maritime industry, either at sea or ashore.
• Ideally, you have a background as a seafarer on tanker vessels or experience working on the shore side of a tanker company.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and an operational approach.
• A genuine interest in digitalization and technology.
• Deep understanding of ship operations, both technical and commercial.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Strong cross-cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• A continuous drive for personal and professional growth, understanding that great results come from hard work and teamwork.
• High attention to detail, with an ability to see how individual elements contribute to the larger picture.
