The position
As Non-Clinical Project Manager/Director you will be heading non-clinical project teams and you will be an integrated member of the overall global project teams in research and development. You will be coordinating complex cross-functional and cross-organisational non-clinical deliverables, such as toxicology, safety pharmacology and DMPK, on research/development projects. You will create a good collaborative environment internally in your teams as well as with other stakeholders inside and outside Novo Nordisk, and you will follow-up on activities and support smooth milestone passages for your projects. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this position we expect you to have: A university degree within the life sciences (Veterinary, MD, Pharmacy, Biology or similar). A PhD degree within a relevant discipline will be an advantage. Documented, solid professional experience working with non-clinical development in the pharma industry or biotech. Demonstrated project leadership/management experience will be beneficial. You are fluent in oral and written English. You have excellent communication skills. Moreover, as a person, you are capable of working in a complex inter-disciplinary organization and having the personal power to influence and to retain focus. Engagement and a positive mind-set, combined with curiosity and a willingness to make a difference and walk the extra mile are personal competencies needed to be successful in this job. About the department Non-clinical Project Management is part of ‘Global Discovery & Development Sciences’ in ‘Research & Early Development’ at Novo Nordisk. Non-clinical Project Management is overall responsible for coordination of all non-clinical activities to ensure optimal project progress during the project lifespan, from research project initiation, through clinical development, to regulatory submission and approval.
