KeyResponsibilities:
Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, ensuring that the terminal is profitable, risk protected and financially strong.
Business partner to the APM Terminals Nordics Functions
Facilitate choices based on financial analysis and insights. Translate business intelligence to stakeholders.
Improve short- and long-term performance through relevant, accurate and timely reporting and analysis. Responsible for business intelligence and analytics to support decision making.
Create value-based steering of the management team e.g. by supporting/providing predictive modelling, forecasting/extrapolation and or statistical analysis
Provide financial/commercial support/advise to set-up new businesses, launch new or close business activities.
Support in financial planning and forecasting as well as investments
Coordinate the overall planning process in APM Terminals Nordics (in line with functional planning guideline/instructions) for the functions including required alignment with CFO and the Countries Finance Business Partners
Support simulations for different business scenarios.
Work closely with the functions to understand the business and the business need in form of reporting and KPIs
Own the Nordics investment process and proposals
Drive performance management
Assure correct and efficient monthly closing and reporting processes. Ensure year monthly and year end closings are met
Follow up and partner with the functions and Countries Business Partners on deviations versus target and forecast and ensure there is an understanding of why and that actions are taken
Define, implement, and track adequate countermeasures and improvement measures together with the Chief Financial Officer, Countries Finance Business Partners and Head of function to react to identify gaps vs. targets and / or to adapt the organization to agreed changes.
Support accounting in actively manage working capital, especially trade receivables, including, as necessary, decision reapprove credit, monitoring of payment conditions, tracking of overdue receivables and exception approvals.
Ensure financial compliance
Support the implementation of precautionary internal control measures such as releasing work instructions or operational procedures to ensure that all financial transactions comply with applicable APMT guidelines and national law in close collaboration with the Head of Finance.
Do not accept non-compliant behavior - in case of non-compliance discussed and escalate if needed.
Who we are looking for:
Solid experience in a similar role.
Master or bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting of Business Economics
Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
Excellent skills of BI tools, Excel, MS Office
We expect you also have:
Ability to drive implementation of new processes and support the organizational changes.
Ability to communicate at all levels across the organization and good stakeholder management.
