The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW, is looking for an administrative student assistant for 12hr/week to join the Research Support team who is responsible for internal and external communication, public engagement, training, and research funding support.
The workplace The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW is an international consortium of three leading research institutions in Denmark, Australia, and the Netherlands. Researchers within reNEW address fundamental questions in stem cell biology and translate research findings to products that will help patients with incurable disorders such as congenital kidney disorders, diabetes, heart defects, neurological disorders, chronic ulcerative conditions, respiratory diseases, bladder defects, and infertility.

reNEW’s Copenhagen node, which is a vibrant, internationally diverse, and ambitious research center at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
Job description As an administrative student assistant in the Research Support Team, you will work closely with the communication and engagement officer and the research support manager. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication and coordination skills in an international environment.
You will support the team with the following tasks:
- Assisting in preparing the weekly newsletter.
- Assisting in organizing internal and external events.
- Maintaining the local website and intranet
- Ad hoc tasks
Qualifications and qualities As an administrative student assistant, you are currently enrolled in an educational program (i.e. an active student), preferably with at least 1 year of study left. We encourage students from any field of study to apply, provided they are motivated, enthusiastic, and have the right skillset.
Success in the position requires reliability, attention to detail, good organizational skills, a willingness to learn, a service- and creative-minded attitude, and enjoying a multi-cultural environment.
The working language at reNEW is English. Therefore, excellent English written and oral skills are required.
Experience using Office 365 and Canva (or other graphic design tools) would be an advantage.
Employment conditions Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees –governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK/STAT, labor grade 1. Salary is DKK 140,56 per hour. Varying working hours is to be expected, but the average working hours is 12 hours per week.
