Your position

In your new position as Onsite Support Specialist in the IT division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated IT Support Team, whose mission is to ensure seamless IT operations and user satisfaction. Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel occasionally as needed.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As an Onsite Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT support to end-users.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing efficient and professional technical support to end-users, both in-person and virtually.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software according to company standards.
  • Documenting issues and solutions in our ITSM system to improve knowledge sharing and efficiency.
  • Assisting users with guidance and training on IT equipment and software.
  • Setting up and decommissioning IT hardware.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for an outgoing and service-oriented IT professional who is passionate about IT support and eager to make a difference. You have a proactive and structured approach to your work and are keen to improve IT processes and user experiences.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of endpoint management, including laptops and mobile devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both towards end-users and within a global IT department.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
  • A relevant IT education. ITIL and technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are an advantage.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
