The position

As the Operational readiness Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Drive key ongoing project priorities such as development/execution of Operational Readiness initiatives, acquired competency development, organisational design, etc.
• Drive development and preparation of general management and operations plans for new buildings.
• Recommend and oversee coordination of contracted services.
• Develop and implement short and long-term plans to ensure the efficient maintenance and operation of buildings, capital improvement building projects, organisational structure and staffing, budget utilisation, and operational project management.
• Develop plans for grounds maintenance, facility needs, policies and procedures, and personnel.
• Drive & support cross-project activities by coordinating with management and project managers regarding communication, cross-project activities, etc.

Moreover, you will initiate, develop, and lead initiatives until the line-of-business can take over responsibility for setting up reporting, dashboards, and planning exercises. Collaborate on projects with other Novo Nordisk sites when applicable and lead decision-making activities while providing flexible ad hoc support on short notice. You will also manage communications with management and other units and follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Business Management, Project Management, or relevant field of study
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within management consulting. Project management of large construction projects is a plus
• Understanding of complicated project execution plans, documentation and standard operating procedures with attention to high-level concepts required
• Understanding of facilities, equipment, & maintenance
• Experience with executive level communications and stakeholder management
• Basic understanding of contractual documents and ability to create work plans and detailed project schedules
• Ability to influence upwards and across the organization to drive results

About the Department 

Production Support is a department at our site AM HI, a production site which is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to 14.000 employees worldwide. Production Support consists of 100 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within AM HI. The site relies on a brand-new Aseptic Production as well as Assembly and Packaging lines, Material handling and Warehouses. Here we produce Diabetes and Obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
