On behalf of Unifeeder, MARPRO Group is looking for an Operations Specialist for the office in Copenhagen. You will report to the Local Operations Manager, Scandinavia.

The job

As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal daily operations, coordinating key logistics, and managing stakeholder relations. Your role will involve handling terminals, coordinating vessel arrivals including pilot/tug orders, and ensuring accurate documentation and making sure requirements from authorities are fulfilled. You will be an integral part of the operations team, managing key tasks such as container logistics and terminal coordination. Additionally, you will monitor vessel operations and ensure efficient port calls across Scandinavian locations.

Professional qualifications

• Relevant education within shipping or logistics.
• Understanding of terminal operations, container vessels, port logistics and procurement.
• Knowledge of stakeholder management and negotiations.
• Knowledge of invoicing, cargo documentation, and operational cost calculations.
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.

• Detail-oriented and structured approach to work.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
