Join Vestas as an OSOS Integration and Analytics Lead and be at the forefront of innovation in our New Product Master projects. In this multifaceted position, you will guide the manufacturability process from the initial stages of development through to the prototype production phase, working in close partnership with designers and various stakeholders to promote best manufacturing practices and minimize risks.

The responsibility of the New Product Master department is to secure verification in builds and Design for Manufacturing throughout the entire development phase of our projects on all platforms under development. The main purpose of the New Product Master is to ensure that design and process risks are mapped and mitigated throughout the entire development project, to ensure that all risks have been facilitated. The Manufacturing Readiness - Tower, Electrical & Simulation department focuses on the entire development lifetime from early product development until implementation into factories, supporting all new product platforms under development.

Responsibilities

The OSOS Integration and Analytics Lead will enhance Vestas Issues Management System, ensuring its seamless implementation across the entire value chain. This role focuses on integrating deviation data with affected items, deploying advanced analytics for predictive maintenance and failure analysis, and delivering impactful reporting and communication. The chosen candidate will work alongside a variety of stakeholders to advance process and system enhancements, boosting the productivity and performance of our operations.

Participate in early development and scoping of projects, until prototype productions. During the development phase, you will work with various tools within the area of integrated product and process development in close partnership with designers to ensure best manufacturing practices in design

Driving manufacturability towards our facilities and suppliers and running critical components towards our supplier base. You will work with both known technologies but also with heavy processes not known yet

Manufacturing and interaction with design groups from the concept phase

Working across Vestas, with a wide stakeholder group e.g., Design, Quality, Production, Tooling etc

Qualifications

Relevant engineering degree - preferably a B.Sc or M.sc degree in mechanical or electrical engineering in production with electrical experience

Minimum years of relevant working experience in a related position

Solid technical skillset and a passionate approach to analysis and development

You have a good knowledge of both the mechanical- and electrical systems of a wind turbine

Familiar with Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma and modularized design

Competencies

Expertise in utilizing data analytics for operational insights, paired with an ability to solve issues efficiently and make well-considered decisions

Solid communication and negotiation skills, with advanced visual communication abilities to create effective and engaging reports and presentations

Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders

Experience in system integration and process improvement

Proficiency in guiding team members, including full-time staff and external consultants, with the ability to embrace and facilitate change in a rapidly evolving setting

Additional information

The primary work location is in Aarhus, Denmark.
