Pedagogical support in our French section and after school care at the European School Copenhagen

We have a temporary position available that involves offering social and academic support for students in our French section.

You will work with supporting students in our French section, partly during school hours and during after school care. You will work closely with the teachers and pedagogues around the classes to create a good environment for the kids to learn, thrive, and develop. You will also be included in the classes overall work, as the school's approach is inclusive, and supporting the students’ social relationships and academic collaboration is an important part of the role.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a relevant education
• Have prior experience working with children who needs extra support
• Be proficient in French
• Be proficient in oral and written English as this is the working language at the school
• Want to support the teaching in the class as a whole and to be willing to perform other tasks as necessary, pedagogical as well as academic
• Contribute to a positive work environment with colleagues
• Be independent and able to navigate in a changeable day

Terms of employment
The position is a temporary position of 37 hours per week starting January 6th, 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until June 30th, 2025 with the possibility for an extension. Salary and employment conditions in accordance with relevant collective agreements.
