People Consultant (Maternity cover)

As one of our colleagues has gone on maternity leave, we are looking for a proactive people professional with a peoples-mindset to join our People & Culture team. As our new People Consultant, you will provide HR support across all areas of human resources, from talent management to employee relations to organisational development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with a mix of administrative tasks and ad hoc responsibilities. You will support strategic P&C initiatives while handling a variety of incoming requests that require quick thinking and adaptability. Collaborating with different departments, you will provide guidance on HR best practices, address people-related challenges, and help foster a positive work environment that aligns with our company values.

How you’ll contribute:

  • HR administrative and ad hoc tasks: This role is centered around administrative responsibilities and ad hoc tasks, requiring agility and adaptability rather than routine work. You will handle a variety of HR-related administrative duties, including onboarding, employee communication via our intranet, and employee records management.
  • Recruitment & Talent Support: Assist managers throughout the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, scheduling, and supporting interviews. Provide administrative support for workforce planning and hiring processes to help attract and onboard the right talent for the company
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, helping to resolve conflicts, manage performance concerns, and ensure a positive workplace culture.
  • HR Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes including optimize and document HR processes and develop standards and guidelines for HR administration.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices are in line with Actona Group’s values and local regulations. Provide advice on compliance matters and HR best practices.
  • Act as a Point of Contact: You will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating a diverse range of tasks. You will be responsible for receiving and assessing incoming requests, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate stakeholders while also taking ownership of selected tasks to drive them forward.

What makes you a great fit

You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field and, preferably in a administrative role. You bring a strong understanding of HR best practices, Danish labor laws, and have proven experience with recruitment.

In addition, you excel at building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation and are skilled in communication and collaboration. Your strong administrative skills will enable you to efficiently manage processes, ensure smooth operations, and provide practical solutions that support HR initiatives. You’ll handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion while maintaining organisation and accuracy.

Please note: This is a maternity cover position with an expected duration of 10-12 months. The exact length will be agreed upon before the start of employment
