At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 102 million registered users and 189,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already saved over 368 million meals from going to waste - avoiding almost 560,000 tonnes of CO2e!

Too Good To Go was named in Fast Company’s March 2022 list of the World's Most Innovative Companies, and was honored to be included in TIME’s list of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2022.

We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Danish team at Too Good To Go.

Your Mission:

Reporting to our Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for the hire-to-retire P&C operations for our Danish office, with approximately 280 employees in our Headquarters in Copenhagen.

No matter what we do, we are above all a people-driven company. We need someone who can thrive in the day-to-day operations as well as take responsibility for ensuring an excellent employee experience and support our rapid scaling.

Your role. You will support numerous activities:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: You juggle the administrative tasks involved in new joiners and leavers, managing contracts and addendums and collaborating on the training plans.
  • You ensure employment records are up to date, maintaining reliable employee data in our HR system, BambooHR.
  • You manage illness & vacation policies and provide administrative support to all employees, managers and P&C stakeholders on our local P&C policies, regulations and processes
  • You will support relocations: applying for work visas and supporting employees joining from abroad.
  • You will collect and provide input for our external payroll partner on a monthly basis, and be the go-to-person for employees regarding payroll-related questions.
  • You will contribute to the continuous development of both local and global ways of working, supporting local execution of global processes.

Requirements:

  • You have previous experience in a similar broad HR role.
  • You possess good knowledge of local labor laws.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are fully proficient in English and fluent in Danish.
  • You are based in Copenhagen.
  • You have exceptional organisation skills, with a great eye for detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks.
  • You have curiosity and an open-minded approach to finding better ways of doing things (and be comfortable with change!)
  • You get things done and have lots of drive.
  • Besides, you are ambitious, self-motivated and passionate about our mission.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment will be a plus!

Our values:

  • We Win Together
  • We Raise the Bar
  • We Keep It Simple
  • We Build a Legacy
  • We Care

  • Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • An inclusive company culture where you can bring your authentic self to work
  • A strong, values-driven team culture where we celebrate successes and socialise with colleagues that care.

Benefits

  • WORK FLEXIBLY:
    • Enjoy hybrid working from our great offices, at home or abroad.
    • Extra parental leave and days off beyond local legislation and the option to take an extra week of unpaid leave
    • Health insurance and pension plan.
    • Additional days off for significant life events
