Role Overview
As the Performance Marketing Specialist at Sharkgaming, you will be at the core of our digital strategy, managing and optimizing campaigns to drive engagement, reach, and conversion. This role is key in amplifying our brand across digital platforms with a focus on Google Ads and expanding into Social Marketing, Email Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, and Influencer Marketing. You will leverage a mix of paid and organic strategies to maximize brand presence and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage digital campaigns across Google Ads (primary), social platforms, email, affiliate, and influencer channels to build and engage our target audience effectively.
- Performance Analysis: Use Google Analytics and other relevant tools to monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and regular recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Optimization: Implement A/B testing, audience segmentation, and keyword analysis to refine ad performance and boost engagement.
- Email Marketing & Automation: You are responsible for our Email marketing strategy but will have help from our design team in execution.
- Affiliate & Influencer Marketing: Collaborate with affiliates and influencers to expand reach, negotiating partnerships and assessing ROI to build an impactful network of brand advocates.
- Budget Management: Optimize marketing spend to ensure the best return on investment, balancing budget allocation across all active channels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling and on-brand ad content, and liaise with sales and product teams to align campaigns with overarching business objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed campaign reports and present performance summaries to the broader marketing team and stakeholders, showcasing results and identifying opportunities for further growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a primary focus on Google Ads. Additional experience in social media marketing is essential; exposure to email marketing, affiliate, or influencer marketing is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Google Ads and Google Analytics. Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo), and affiliate marketing software is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Creativity & Strategy: Ability to create innovative concepts that resonate with the gaming audience and apply strategic thinking to align digital campaigns with brand growth.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate campaign insights and results effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate across departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
