The role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO Manager to join our team. You will report directly to the Head of the department and will play a crucial role in leading and managing key initiatives to enhance our P&O Digital Delivery Setup (DDS). As an ideal candidate we expect you to have a strong background in project management, experience with agile, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvements.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead and manage major improvement initiatives to the P&O Digital Delivery Setup (DDS), ensuring on-time delivery, within scope, and within budget
Identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies and risks across multiple teams and initiatives
Develop and implement standardized processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency
Maintain and enhance portfolio transparency through regular status reports and dashboards
Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with PMO objectives and facilitate effective communication
Lead change management initiatives to support the transition to a hybrid delivery model
Create and conduct training sessions on PMO processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices
Act as a change agent and drive continuous improvements
Candidate profile
Proven experience in project management, preferably within a PMO or similar environment
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and digital delivery setups
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in change management and process improvement
It would be considered as a plus if you have a previous experience with driving HR IT projects in international environments

The area is anchored within Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and team members are placed closely to P&O stakeholders for optimal collaboration. We work according to agile principles to efficiently support P&O’s digitalisation journey.
