A position as postdoc (80% time) is vacant as soon as possible at Cochrane Denmark and at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine Odense (CEBMO), Department of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
The position is limited to 10 months with the possibility of extension.
Research tasks
The position as a postdoc consists of research, teaching, professional development, and guidance in Evidence-Based Medicine - in particular, research on conflicts of interest in medicine and other scholarly disciplines.
The centre’s main research topics are bias in clinical research, conflicts of interest, de-implementation, and medical devices. The centre is responsible for a pre-graduate course in evidence-based medicine for medical students, and postgraduate courses (e.g., PhD courses). Furthermore, the centre supports Cochrane authors and runs a methodological consultancy service for clinical researchers, e.g., when conducting systematic reviews.
We expect you to have a relevant academic degree (PhD level) and a research interest in evidence-based medicine clinical research methodology and conflicts of interest.
The post involves primary responsibility for a project on conflicts of interest across scholarly disciplines.
