We are seeking an independent and self-driven postdoc to lead our Neuroimmunology and cell therapy projects at the Department of Molecular Medicine, SDU.
The full-time position is available in the Laboratory of Associate Professor Agnieszka Wlodarczyk from April 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter and for a period of one year with the possibility of extension for two or more years.
A strong emphasis of this position is on bioinformatics, multiomics data integration, and programming, complemented by expertise in wet lab experiments (in vitro and in vivo).

The Department of Molecular Medicine (IMM)
IMM’s mission is to generate new knowledge about human body function and disease mechanisms, thereby contributing to improved human health. Our department hosts an interdisciplinary group of experts in cancer biology, neurobiology, inflammation, and genomics, all in close proximity to Odense University Hospital. This collaborative environment fosters translational research aimed at developing novel therapies.

About the Wlodarczyk Group
The Wlodarczyk Group focuses on understanding and harnessing naturally occurring protective and regenerative molecular processes to develop innovative therapies for neurological diseases such as progressive multiple sclerosis, dementia, and stroke. We employ state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques—including multiomics, cell culture, and in vivo rodent models—and have access to unique human tissue samples.

A position as postdoc is a fixed-term academic position. The position can be filled for a period of up to 4 years at the same university. Employment stops automatically at the end of the period.
The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement on salaried postdoc between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
