About the research project

The project will address distinct metabolic pathways in prostate cancer progression. The study is based on an in vivo CRISPR mouse model for prostate cancer, introducing multiple mutations simultaneously. By doing so, the project uncovers key pathways and mechanisms in prostate cancer progression. This will be achieved by analyzing samples using spatial transcriptional and proteomic analysis in combination with tumor characterization, revealing tumor networks in prostate cancer progression. Key findings will be validated on human samples, and their functions will be assessed in vivo through CRISPR/Cas9 gene alteration.
