The Center for Hybrid Intelligence within the Department of Management at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, invites applications for a 1-year postdoctoral position offering applicants an exciting opportunity to join a new research project on AI-enhanced workflows and human computer interactions.
The starting date is March 1, 2025 or subject to mutual agreement.
The Center for Hybrid Intelligence is engaged in several cutting-edge projects that explore the design, development, and deployment of AI-enhanced tools in diverse professional and organizational contexts. These projects contribute to the fields of human-computer interaction, management science, and AI-driven product development. They aim to generate both high-quality academic research and practical, impactful tools.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will play a central role in the development and management of multiple projects at the Center for Hybrid Intelligence. Specific responsibilities include:
- Software Development: Designing, building, and deploying prototypes and applications that integrate AI technologies into workflows, focusing on usability and scalability.
- Project Management: Overseeing project timelines, ensuring deliverables align with both academic and practical objectives, and coordinating efforts across teams.
- Product Management: Guiding the lifecycle of AI-enhanced tools, from requirements gathering to iterative development, testing, and refinement based on user feedback.
- Research Contribution: Supporting research goals through software development and participating in writing academic articles, case studies, and technical documentation.
- Collaboration: Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, developers, and external stakeholders, to align project objectives.
The position is research-oriented but may involve teaching assignments.
Your QualificationsThe successful candidate for the postdoctoral position should hold a PhD relevant to the academic areas of the Department of Management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills will be valued as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Proven track record with complex stakeholder and project management desired as well as publication experience.
