PR & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR (12 MONTH PARENTAL COVER BASED IN PARIS OR COPENHAGEN)
WE ARE SEEKING A STRATEGIC AND RESULTS-DRIVEN PR & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR TO LEAD GANNI’S GLOBAL PR AND COMMUNICATIONS TEAM. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL SHAPE GANNI’S BRAND VOICE THROUGH PR-LED PROJECTS, AMPLIFYING KEY MOMENTS, AND DRIVING POSITIVE EXPOSURE ALIGNED WITH OUR BRAND’S VALUES AND GOALS. THIS ROLE REQUIRES COLLABORATING WITH GLOBAL AGENCIES TO ELEVATE OUR AWARENESS AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS THAT REFLECT GANNI’S INCLUSIVE, PROGRESSIVE POSITIONING.
YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
- Drive Global PR & Communications Strategy: Develop and execute the 2025 PR & Communications strategy in line with the brand and business goals.
- Lead Press and Product Launches: Oversee the strategy for product launches, collection releases, and key brand events, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging with KPI-driven results.
- Manage Global PR Agencies: Partner with global PR agencies to develop localized strategies to amplify GANNI’s presence in key markets and manage execution and performance
- Create Strategic Communications Assets: Develop impactful narratives and communications assets (in partnership with creative team) that capture GANNI’s unique vision and values.
- Manage PR Events: Conceptualize and manage events globally that reflect GANNI’s brand ethos, driving awareness and reinforcing brand equity with a close attention on strategic objectives and measurement
- Align on CSR Messaging: Work closely with CSR and Marketing teams on tone of voice and messaging for GANNI’s corporate sustainability initiatives
- Devise KOL Strategies: Manage talent and influencer strategies both global and local in partnership with marketing for paid activity that maintain a unified global brand image
- Crossfunctional Management: Partner across content, marketing, and VM to ensure a cohesive brand vision across all touch points.
- Senior stakeholder management: Experience in stakeholder management - aligning on expectation and proactively seeking input and validation at key stages of strategy and execution - Executives include; Chief Brand Officer, CEO and Creative Director
- Spokesperson Strategy Management: Develop and implement strategies for GANNI’s key spokespeople, develop their narrative, manage their profile and prepare timely briefing notes
- Corporate Communications: Support corporate communications and manage brand reputation initiatives as needed.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 10+ years in PR & Communications for a global luxury fashion brand. Must have a strong understanding of storytelling, the shifting media landscape and strong media contacts
- Professional and discreet: An exemplary leader who is professional, respects confidentiality and always upholds a positive team and company culture
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal skills in English, with strong presentation and influencing skills
- Highly organised: A solution-oriented thinker with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Network-Driven: Skilled at nurturing a global network and community.
- Adaptable and Agile: Comfortable in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Leadership: Proven team player and leader with a natural ability to inspire and guide others.
