About the role:
As Senior Manager Presales & Strategic Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving presales activities, shaping sales strategies, and establishing high-value partnerships. You will directly influence the strategic technical sales process, developing market insights, and ensuring alignment with global commercial strategies.
You will work in a team of presales professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
Reporting line - Director of Presales & Strategic Business Development
What you will do:
Strategic Leadership (30%):
Shape and align presales strategy with global commercial goals, ensuring the sales team has the tools, collateral, and frameworks to achieve results.
Identify, evaluate, and nurture strategic partnerships with hardware, software, and service ecosystems to expand market reach.
Lead market and competitive analysis initiatives to influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
Act as a key interface between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer executive leadership to influence Sales strategies based on presales insights and market trends.
Presales Excellence (70%):
Own the technical sales process from the first solution-relevant meeting to close and handover, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Build strategic relationships across customer organizations, including IT, Sales, Audiology, and Management teams.
Develop concepts and drive development of tools and templates that improves the sales process
Conduct high-impact product demonstrations and participate in client or tradeshow events as a highly competent presenter.
Lead solution evaluations to understand customer technical and commercial needs and match these with the company’s capabilities.
Oversee and lead enterprise-level RFI/RFP processes.
Act as the first line SME for all technical aspects of company solutions.
Work closely with the commercial teams to enhance technical knowledge and competitive positioning through a comprehensive training program.
Key Metrics of Success:
Contribution to revenue growth through strategic presales initiatives and partnerships.
Global Expansion of Regional strategic accounts and partnerships
Team performance metrics, including win rates, deal velocity, and customer satisfaction.
Effective scaling of presales processes and tools to support global growth.
What you will bring:
5+ years of experience with Strategic Presales, with a strong technical sales background.
Proven experience in working with audiological hardware and SaaS solutions.
Deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, its technical limitations, and opportunities.
Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level RFI/RFP processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
Relevant educational background such as MSc, BSc, or equivalent industry experience.
