If so, you might be the new Process Manager, Container Closure we are looking for in Devices and Delivery Solutions.
The position
As a Process Manger you will ensure that our processes are simple, stable, compliant, continuously improved, and meet the future needs of our company. You oversee process performance and compliance, and drive process improvement activities.
The container closure development process guides the department on how to develop new primary packaging systems for Oral and injectable delivery systems and supports the engineering activities from early innovation until submission for launch, it also interfaces to life cycle management activities in other areas of the process landscape. The processes reach across many different areas of Novo Nordisk as well as external collaborators, so aligning with stakeholders and ensuring their input is key.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be focused on:
• Understanding and addressing the needs of users involved in the process, including container closure and primary packaging engineers, as well as various internal and external stakeholders.
• Sparring with engineers on process topics relevant for daily project execution
• Collaborating with other process managers in interfacing processes as well as area process owners
• Draw up existing process landscape and dependencies through interviewing stakeholders.
• Setting the strategic direction for the process improvements in alignment with the management team
• Identify process GAPs, develop a prioritized plan to address these gaps, and collaborate on process improvements within the department.
• Oversee and ensure focus on the process improvement portfolio.
• Drive process improvements in alignment with business needs and regulatory expectations (e.g., in procedures, guidance, templates, and as representative in cross-organizational improvement initiatives)
• Hosting and participating in process groups and present the process during audits
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in drug and or medical device development
• A solid understanding of drug GMP and advantageous design control
• A continuous improvement process mindset and drive for improving and leading the change.
• Experience in container closure development as part of drug product or combination product development will be considered an advantage.
• High flexibility, as tasks vary, and project priorities may change.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both spoken and written English
Personal characteristic:
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who can connect effectively with process experts and users. The candidate should be able to achieve success collaboratively, take initiative when required, and manage conflicts efficiently.
The preferred work location is in the office to stay close to process users and stakeholders.
Additionally, the candidate should have project management skills and be capable of working independently in dynamic environments.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellence in stakeholder management, effectively motivates team performance, and exhibits strong technical leadership skills.
About the Department
Devices and Delivery Solutions (DDS) consists of more than 400 colleagues who work dedicatedly to design and develop innovative delivery solutions, digital health products, and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients.
You will refer to the director and be a part of the leadership team, come join our Primary Packaging Development department consisting of approx. 40 skilled employees, in the roles of project managers, development engineers and specialists.
