About the department

As part of Moonboon’s Operations and Finance team, you will report directly to the COO. About the position

As the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager at Moonboon, you will play a key role in building and managing the company’s supply chain function. You will be responsible for developing processes and structures that support an efficient, scalable, and well-organized supply chain aligned with business goals and operational needs. This role includes overseeing inventory of 10-15 million and procurement valued at 30-40 million kroner annually.

Key responsibilities include maintaining a clear overview of forecasting, demand planning, and budgeting, ensuring that procurement and inventory management are prioritized and optimized. A key focus will be procurement and supplier follow-up, including negotiating and optimizing agreements, securing favorable terms, and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will drive continuous optimization of logistics and supply chain processes, focusing on efficiency, automation, and cost-effectiveness, while using ERP systems, planning tools, and automation technologies. Additionally, you will oversee inbound supply chain management, ensuring smooth handling from procurement to warehousing, and manage documentation, invoicing, and supplier coordination for compliance and transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Forecasting & Planning: Align inventory with sales needs, monitor forecasts and sales performance daily/weekly, and lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to ensure alignment with operational goals.
• Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Manage procurement documentation, place replenishment orders, and ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and report monthly stock levels and product status.
• Customs & Compliance: Oversee customs clearance processes and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.

Qualifications & requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain logistics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage dynamic priorities.
• Confidence in working with numbers and data analysis.
• Experience in a tech startup/scaleup environment is a plus, as well as familiarity with a similar product line (e.g., consolidated goods).
