MAN Energy Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for our Retrofit Product Management team, specializing in 4-stroke propulsion engines, propeller, and aft-ship systems.

You will play an important in
You will:

• Take on product ownership of multiple 4-stroke propulsion and propeller retrofit solutions
• Collaborate closely with our sales and execution department with your technical expertise
• Take an active role in the development of new retrofit solutions, together with colleagues from our engineering and automation departments
• Being the subject matter expert on your own portfolio of retrofit solutions for our 4-stroke propulsion engines and propeller systems.

We imagine that you:

• Have a degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, hydrodynamic engineering, naval architect or similar.
• Experience with marine engines, propulsion system and/or other marine equipment
• High technical understanding, with the ability to quickly learn about new technical systems
• Is self-driven, has an analytic approach, and ability to make good long term solutions
• Has excellent communication skill and a prominent level of professionalism

Welcome to Retrofit Product Management
In Retrofit Product Management we are responsible for over 60 different retrofit solutions for our 2-stroke engines, 4-stroke GenSets, 4-stroke small-bore propulsion engines and Alpha CPP propeller systems. We are supporting our sales and project colleagues, as well as our international organization, with everything technical related to our products.

Furthermore, our department is also leading and driving new product development projects all the way from product idea to finalized product that we bring to the market.
