The position
As a Product Manager in New Tech & Extended Reality, you will have the opportunity to:
Support on setting the strategic direction for the New Tech & XR team
Interact with key senior stakeholders across Emerging Technologies’ value chain
Open up doors for new XR business models to support increasing productivity
Evaluate and recommend the acquisition and application of new technologies to improve manufacturing processes in collaboration with the NN central teams.
Drive the New tech agenda in collaboration with the team, the other product managers in the department and our internal customers (the production sites).
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
5+ years within consultancy within technology, innovation and/or manufacturing
Proven experience in product management, with a focus on developing and implementing IT solutions.
Proven track record of implementation of complex digital solutions within a larger organization.
Have a technical understanding of the capabilities and limitations of new technologies- e.g. digital twins, virtual reality and augmented reality
A relevant master’s degree
Proficiency in English
On a personal level, you have excellent communication and collaboration skills with many stakeholders plus excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Also strong passion for driving innovation in a regulated industry and experience within agile ways of working. Moreover, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate critical parameters and make data-driven recommendations.
About the department
The position is anchored in the Manufacturing Tech & Innovation unit within Emerging Technologies and our key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimize the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes. The department is growing, and we are currently around 50 colleagues covering Manufacturing Intelligence, Process Digitalisation, Robotics, New tech and Extended Reality. We are divided into 5 teams. With the rapid advancement within technology, we are expanding our department and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest technology to make a significant impact on how we operate the future regulated manufacturing processes.
