This position is based at our friendly offices in Herning, and you will join our Finance Product Management team in Platform Engineering Products. We are set to deliver and support our banks with the best possible tools for ESG reporting and for financial processes in general.
The Product Owner position is supporting our the ESG initiative in Credit on ESG-risk reporting, taxonomy reporting and CSRD in general. This is a multi-year activity with the purpose of building a strong ESG-solution to our banks. The position could also incorporate responsibility within financial processes where we also are supporting the banks. All work is done in close collaboration across teams, ensuring relevant deliveries for our customers, making sure they are compliant to ESG and supported in the best way in their financial processes.
Your direct manager will be Product Manager Henrik Jespersen.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the product manager, the development manager, and the development team members as well as with other product owners to ensure cross-domain collaboration, and with the domain architect to ensure products fit with the architectural vision.
- In addition, you secure alignment with our customers and stake-holders on objectives, and you balance the expectations for deliveries building the roadmap and describing the deliveries for 5 quarters
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, translating product managers' strategies to development tasks, and learning the customers' and market's requirements.
- Travel to Poland can be expected
To succeed you:
- Have a curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Preferably, you have an educational background at bachelor’s or master’s level within IT/Finance/Banking and 2-5 years of experience from a similar position
- Are proactive, self-driven and result-oriented
- Have a strong customer focus and proven stakeholder management capabilities
- Can facilitate communication between the customers and the development team
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, business value and making things happen
- Are an excellent communicator and facilitator
It’s nice to have:
- It would be an advantage if you have gained experience working with ESG and/or financial processes in general and if you are a certified product owner.
