About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic product development team on either the web or mobile platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the development of our platform, ensuring that they align with our business goals and deliver exceptional value to the users. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and user-centric focus.
Primary Responsibilities
Tasks will include managing the development team and ensuring delivery of great software. You will:
Product Vision and Stakeholder management
- Participate in defining and communicating the product vision of the platform
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Chief Operating Officer, to establish product goals, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Act as the primary liaison between the team and key stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment throughout the development process.
- Provide regular updates on product progress, key milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders.
Team and Backlog management
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the current priorities, business value, and user needs
- Prioritise features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, stakeholder input, and user feedback.
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with the cross-functional team, including UX/UI designers, developers, and QA, to gather requirements and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Sprint planning and execution:
- Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring that the team is aligned on priorities and has a clear understanding of the tasks for each sprint.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing guidance and removing obstacles to ensure smooth progress.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all web platforms.
About You

- You have experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in the healthcare, tech, or digital product space.
- Proven experience managing web-based products or platforms, with a strong understanding of web technologies and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with experience leading Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and web design best practices.
