Our mission is to elevate the power of gastronomic sciences to food industry quality standards and contribute delicious taste solutions for a more responsible food production system. As a growing food tech startup, we’re looking for a talented Product Pipeline Manager to join our team and help us operationalise the r&d pipeline.
As a product pipeline manager to join REDUCED’s r&d team you’ll play a pivotal role running and coordinating product development efforts across sales, operations and quality, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and carrying out our culinary approach to making savoury food ingredients. The pipeline manager will have the flexibility to alternate between lab scale experiments and project management responsibilities. This is a dynamic and hands-on role that will involve moving between a shared R&D laboratory at Copenhagen University and our pilot scale production facility at Nordhavn.
Match commercial needs with product technical requirements (product features –> customer needs --> value proposition –> new product optimisation <--)
Manage NPD stage gate framework process efficiently, steering stakeholders to adhere with food safety standards (FSSCC2200).
Govern S&OP meetings on behalf of the r&d department presenting pipepline review minutes, supply and demand needs.
Scope NPD solutions into actionable projects with measurable impact.
Develop and document process technology information:
Develop both raw material and product specification ranges
Coordinate and execute lab scale work associated with product/process development
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Carry out r&d pipeline plans for 2025+
Launch NPD projects on time with a 92% rate
Secure speed and support the transition from lab scale to pilot productions (core of NPD stage gate system).
Master degree within food sciences (food science/technology or engineering).
Between 3-5 years of experience in the food industry in similar roles working with stage gate models.
Experience working with GFSI certifications.
A Hands on mindset with a practical academic approach.
Experience with working with a NPD stage gate system.
Solid understanding of food NPD processes, taste science and quality.
Strong facilitator skills with a desire to nurture healthy collaborations
Communicates project key results clearly and effectively.
