Weibel is recognized as a world-leader in radar technology, with radars performing at a precision largely unmatched by competitors. Applications for our radars include Space Research, Missile Defence, Instrumentation Systems and Drone and UAS Detection. The radars are produced at our Allerød factory, and about 98% of Weibel radars are exported. Increasing customer demand means that the company is experiencing rapid growth.
As part of this growth, we are ramping up our Instrumentation Sales team and we are now looking for an ambitious Product Specialist.
Your primary responsibility as our new Product Specialist will be to develop Weibel’s market and product strategy for our Instrumentation Radars in close collaboration with our Product Line Director. This includes advising our Sales team on technical capabilities and supporting them with sales materials, at customer meetings, tendering and much more. Generating and maintaining market plans, defining product strategies and roadmaps and working as a keystone between our technical department and sales.
The Product Specialist is a vital link between our products and our customers and interprets customer needs and requirements into solutions and product definitions.
Your key areas of responsibilities will include:
You should expect to travel up to 40 days per year.
The position as Product Specialist requires a person with a strong technical background, who can understand complex products combined with an understanding of market segments, customers, competitors, and technology trends.
You have a strategic mind-set while at the same time being operational in the execution of your tasks. Furthermore, you have a strong drive and energy that enables you to reach your objectives through others.

Our team consists of a dedicated sales team, a creative marketing group, bid and product management with a varied level of experience spanning from a year to several decades. The team is responsible for the entire sales process of Weibel’s instrumentation radar business in a field where Weibel is a market leader. Our work spans the entire company and requires coordination with all parts of the company to ensure our products match our customers’ expectations, are competitive and delivered on time.
