The position
As a Production Manager in our Moulding Production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 technicians working in shifts to ensure the continuous production of plastic components running 24 hours 7 days a week. Your goal will be to achieve the highest level of efficiency amongst the team while adhering to all manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead by example, setting the direction and creating an engaging and motivating environment for your team.
Responsible for teams performance by ensuring timely deliveries, robust processes, and the right quality.
Drive ongoing optimisations for shop floor and being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees.
A focus on LEAN methodologies and systematic problem-solving techniques and standardisation.
Collaborate with a highly engaged management team to shape the strategic direction of the department.
You will be welcomed into a management team consisting of 4 Managers reporting to 1 Senior Manager. As part of the management team, you will be able to impact the strategic direction of the department and help forming the future. Qualifications
Your experiences include:
3+ years of people management experience, preferably in advanced production.
A degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
We are also open to those without a degree but with clear experience managing/ leading people within a highly technical area.
Fluency in Danish and English.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, GxP and production knowledge would be a plus.
As an individual, your quality mindset and business acumen are well developed. You approach problems systematically, collaborate effectively within a team, and possess strong stakeholder management skills. This links to your excellent interpersonal abilities which enable you to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels within the organisation. You value listening to other inputs and can evaluate issues in a practical manner, leading to effective solutions. Your management and leadership skills allows you to create and promote engagement amongst colleagues while working in a production environment with ambitious targets, a fast-paced work setting, and numerous daily decisions. Managing multiple activities simultaneously is within your capabilities.
About the department
You will join Moulding Production in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 150 colleagues, working in 4 production teams, supported by 2 teams of technical specialists. We produce plastic components used for manufacturing of our medical devices in Novo Nordisk. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in Diabetes Finished Products and Biopharmaceuticals, and we do that in close collaboration with the other departments in DCP.
