At the Department of Food Science, a part time position is available for a project coordinator. This position is available for appointment June 1st 2025 or soon thereafter for 2 years.
Position activitiesAs project coordinator, you will aid in grant applications, you will participate in consortium meeting, organize events and workshop, online or in person, prepare agenda, create content for the workshops, take notes and minutes, and help documenting the project deliverables. You will be responsible for all tasks related to projects, from the administrative and coordinating standpoint. You will identify needed resources, and co-work with other colleagues based on the requests from scientific staff and partners, prepare reports, and gather necessary information to deliver on the tasks assigned.
Primary activities:- Represent the WP leaders and Task leaders in meetings.
- Prepare and organize meetings, events, create agenda and reports.
- Gather the necessary information to deliver on the tasks.
- Communicate, disseminate activities on behalf of the research and teaching staff.
- Instruct staff and students on the tasks needed to deliver on the project.
- Manage the timelines, ensure the delivery of milestones and project KPIs.
QualificationsWe are looking for a service minded candidate with a food science background, with entrepreneurial mindset and a good understanding of current European Erasmus + projects environments, especially in relation to upskilling and reskilling professionals. We expect a high sense of structure, ability to keep overview, authority in giving instructions, good communication and presentation skills, and a good command of English language and ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment.

Formalities and salary range
The job is part time, i.e., 20 hours per week. Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the joint agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations as well as the organization agreement between the Ministry of Finance and HK / STAT for office workers, laboratory technicians and IT staff, or other relevant agreements.
