The position
As the Technology Platform Lead you represent the Chemical API technology platforms (Small molecules, synthetic peptides, oligonucleotides) within Product Supply’s prod-uct development area (DPP). You will be instrumental in supporting development pro-jects and development portfolios with technical expertise, process optimization, and strategic problem-solving. You will serve as a key advisor and representative ensuring manufacturability, scalability, and alignment with project priorities and timelines while driving value for the development pipeline.

Main responsibilities will be to:

• Provide expert guidance on manufacturability and scalability for clinical and market production, proactively addressing technology platform-related issues in collaboration with CMC-PS Project Directors
• Lead and resolve complex challenges at the project, portfolio, or platform level, ensuring timely solutions to maximize pipeline value
• Establish and maintain robust networks for knowledge sharing among CMC-PS Project Directors within DPP, promoting innovation and collaboration
• Represent DPP in cross-functional projects across PSQIT and Novo Nordisk, en-suring alignment and advocating for Product Supply’s priorities
• Drive initiatives to optimize PSQIT technology platforms in collaboration with stakeholders, securing effective platform utilization

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with experience with senior stakeholder management along with a holistic approach to problem solving, combined with thorough under-standing of the pharmaceutical value chain. Specifically, the drug development pro-cess from early phase to market.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• An MSc or PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sci-ence, biology, engineering or similar
• At least 8-10 years of experience within pharmaceutical product development or expertise within pharmaceutical production at the technology platform
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry as well as global regulatory requirements 
• Full English proficiency

You display a high level of independence, per-sonal engagement, drive to reach results as well as integrity, seeking optimal trade-offs when faced with constraints. 

About the department
Technology Platforms is anchored in Development Product Portfolio & Emerging Tech-nologies within NN Product Supply. We represent the technology platform perspective across our product development function. We are a small unit consistent of very expe-rienced project managers representing all high-volume technological platforms which Novo Nordisk operates on.

The position is located in Taastrup.
