Unibio is an innovative biotech company that has developed a planet-friendly technology to produce protein. The technology is based on fermentation using natural gas as a raw material. With our technology, we can feed the world’s growing population without damaging our ecosystems.

Welcome to the Engineering & Projects Team

As our new project engineer, you will become part of the Engineering & Projects Team, which is responsible for project management, development of our patented technical solutions, as well as for the engineering of production facilities. We are a small team who work closely together to achieve our goals. You will be involved in all aspects of the work, in particular plant projects, within Engineering & Projects, in cooperation with our internal specialists, global suppliers, and partners.

Unibio’s project model is based on partnerships or licenses where we acts as technology provider in close cooperation with global investors and engineering partners, who supplement our knowledge and resources, allowing us to execute large projects with a small organization. We experience high interest from investors who wish to establish production in various countries around the world. We are currently engineering two projects and expect more to come over the next years.

You will help us with:

• Specification and Documentation
  • Conceptual specifications
  • Functional Design Specifications, PFDs, etc.
  • Manuals, guides, SOP etc.
• Supplier Support
  • Qualification and selection
  • Technical clarification
  • QA
• FAT/SAT and commission support
• Creating and supporting the specification, construction and documentation of bioreactors and other equipment

We imagine that you:

• Have a relevant engineering background
• Have experience with projects and equipment for biotech or food. Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
  • Fermentation
  • Separation
  • Spray drying
  • Sanitary design
  • CIP / SIP
• Thrive in an international environment and are fluent in English, written as well as spoken
• Are willing to travel regularly worldwide
