Project Manager for EU ETM Implementation

We are looking for a colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the renewable industry. Are you a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager and would you be able to to lead the EU ETM implementation initiative? You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project, ensuring effective collaboration with all stakeholders, and maintaining transparency on progress and risks.

The scope of the project is a change of the current trading platform (Energy trading management system). The current platform is running out of service and is insufficient in supporting the ambitions of BU. This is where you come in the picture. You will work closely together with a Senior Product Owner/Product Manager on the ongoing implementation of this new trading platform.

You should keep track of the overall execution plan and timeline, handling the full financial side of the project as well as having the full communication with the vendor together with their procurement department. In a proactive way, you will have to make sure that the contracts are adjusted and used in the best possible way according to the purpose of the project.

The PO for the project will take care of the backlog, dialogue with other relevant PO’s, prioritization and coordination with the OCM.

Location: Greater Copenhagen, onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in ETRM or similar implementation projects
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and benefit realization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with diverse teams
• Experience in navigating and modifying contracts in collaboration with procurement
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Take full responsibility for the EU ETM budget, actuals follow-up, and forecasting the total cost of implementation
• Ensure timely follow-up on business cases for any delays, including risks
• Provide transparency on how the implementation is progressing, both in terms of objectives and progress
• Establish data-driven transparency on progress, to-dos, and decisions taken
• Keep all stakeholders informed and involved about the project's progress and any high-level risk
• Keep track of benefit realization and take timely action if things slip, in close collaboration with the OCM
• Navigate and modify the contract in collaboration with procurement and ART leadership
• Responsible for vendor management, and the contractual terms, hereunder implementation change requests
• Work constructively and in a structured manner with the implementation team, focusing on improving collaboration with the vendor to increase the likelihood of success
• Enable a clear process for the lead PO to set clear expectations with business owners and ART Leadership regarding priorities and scope changes
• Maintain a clear and transparent backlog of features and implementation priorities and keep the project manager informed
