Project Manager for Global Installation Setup

You will play an important role in:
Retrofit & Upgrade department at MAN Energy Solutions offers a comprehensive range of products and solutions aimed at optimizing 2-stroke engines in operation. That includes providing customers with innovative solutions that lower running costs, enhance fuel savings, improve engine availability, and ensure compliance with modern emission regulations. By leveraging our extensive expertise and advanced technologies, we help our customers achieve greater efficiency and sustainability in their marine operations.

Your knowledge of the marine industry, combined with your strong communication skills and service mindset to transform challenges into solutions, will ensure your success in this role.

You will:

• Collaborate with Service Hubs worldwide: Improve and streamline the installation processes for our 2-stroke vessel engines
• Support and Guide Local Coordinators: Provide continuous support and guidance to local installation coordinators in various regions
• Single Point of Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for all matters related to global installation setup
• Adjust and Monitor Procedures: Adjust procedures as needed and ensure adherence to established processes
• Customer Satisfaction: Work towards improving customer satisfaction by reducing installation wait times
• Database Management: Regularly use and update the Cloud for Service (C4S) tool
• Data Utilization: Use and analyze data from Power BI for decision-making and performance monitoring

You are used to and thrive in a growing working environment where you have a lot on your plate. You have a good technical understanding and commercial mindset, maybe previous experience working in the marine industry, so you can put yourself in the shoes of the customer and understand the journey the customer is going through after ordering a Retrofit & Upgrade solution with us. Your project management and coordinator skills are on an intermediate to high level and you are used to communicating with both internal stakeholders and customers with your excellent English skills in both speaking and writing.

• Technical Background: Strong foundation in marine engineering or a related field
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the shipping or maritime industry is an advantage
• Process-Oriented: Structured, organized, and capable of following and developing processes
• Support Skills: Ability to support local installation coordinators effectively
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with global teams and build networks between regions
• Customer Focused: Service-minded and accountable towards customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Database Proficiency: Experience in using and updating the Cloud for Service (C4S) tool.

You will be part of the Product Execution team. The project managers are executing all the orders we receive from the standard Retrofit & Upgrade product portfolio. We are a diverse team of skilled and dedicated people, focusing on customers and their needs. Your future colleagues are situated in Holeby, Frederikshavn and Copenhagen.

This particular position will be based in Copenhagen, where you will join our team of sales managers, project coordinators, product managers and project managers all dealing with retrofit’s standard product portfolio.
