Project Manager for propeller and propulsion retrofits

You will play an important role in:
As we expand our retrofit business for propeller and propulsion projects, we are seeking another colleague to join our product execution team in Frederikshavn. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of our retrofit portfolio for propeller and propulsion, which includes aftship upgrades, propulsion control systems and MAN four-stroke propulsion engines. Your role will involve providing customers with solutions for lowering running costs, improving availability and meeting modern emission legislations. Our projects range from a single order to complex projects, where your service-oriented approach will be of crucial importance.

More specifically, you will be a part of the:

• Sales phase: Involved in sales phase, especially for special contracts; secure proper handover from sales and product team
• End-to-end project execution: Responsible for execution of single orders and projects: from order confirmation to product delivery and secure successful installation of the product, including coordination of installation jobs, invoicing and securing payments from customers
• Reporting: Do budget and resources control and monthly reporting to management and key stakeholders  
• Technical challenges: Resolve technical challenges with internal stakeholders and customers
• Processes: Develop and own project/order execution processes
• Development: Participate in product development and maturing of  new products

We imagine that you:
You are used to and thrive in a growing working environment where you have a lot on your plate. You have a good technical understanding and commercial awareness, maybe previous experience working in the marine industry, so you can put yourself in the shoes of the customer and understand the journey the customer is going through after ordering a retrofit solution with us. Your project management skills are on an intermediate to high level and you are used to communicating with both internal stakeholders and customers with your excellent English skills in both speaking and writing.

We expect you to have a strong mindset and be comfortable collaborating with remote teams and a remote leader based in the Copenhagen office.

• Technical Background: Strong foundation with engines/mechanical systems and/or marine automation systems
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the shipping or maritime industry is an advantage
• Process-Oriented: Structured, organized, and capable of following and developing processes
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with global teams and build networks between regions
• Customer Focused: Service-minded and accountable towards customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Database Proficiency: Experience in handling component flow in an ERP system.

We are a diverse team of skilled and dedicated people, focusing on order and project management. Your future colleagues are situated in Holeby, Frederikshavn and Copenhagen. This particular position will be based in Frederikshavn, where you will join our small team of sales managers, coordinator, product manager and a project manager all dealing with propeller and propulsion retrofits.
