The position
In this project management role, you will spearhead efforts to align functions, drive cohesive decision-making, establish essential governance and structures, and develop operational procedures and guides, thus ensuring a seamless transition from PAT development to full operational capacity. Moreover, your expertise will be instrumental in devising optimal strategies for PAT development and implementation across our global sites, as well as integrating PAT development seamlessly within our processes from the early stages of development.
Your contribution will be pivotal in driving our commitment to excellence and innovation, ensuring that PAT becomes an integral part of our process control, from inception to operational execution, while maintaining the highest standards of alignment and quality.
You will not be alone on this journey, you will be joining a group of specialists, scientists/engineers, and laboratory technicians dedicated to developing and innovating PAT from concept to implementation.
Success in this role will hinge on your ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborators, within and outside your team, department and area, including project- and manufacturing teams, QA/QC, scientists/engineers, and technicians in research and analytical teams, as well as vendors and facility engineers.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly qualified project manager professional with a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in science or engineering, such as chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or management, showcasing their ability to drive success in dynamic and innovative environments.
As a scientific professional, you possess exceptional collaborative skills, enabling you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You excel in delivering timely and practical solutions while showcasing strong decision-making capabilities.

About the Department
In PS API in Kalundborg, we specialise in manufacturing high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) that serve as the primary component in all Novo Nordisk products. Our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) area is focused on supporting our manufacturing processes.
The PAT development team is part of PS API MSAT Technology and Process Facilities in Kalundborg, which consists of 65 dedicated employees organized into five teams.
Within the PAT Development team, our focus is on providing innovative PAT solutions for integrated process control, aimed at supporting both existing and future manufacturing facilities.
