Qualifications

As a Sustainability Project Manager within the Global Logistics and Distribution department you will support broadly across Novo Nordisk, as you will work together with our stakeholders across our SVP area to our affiliate level. Leading the implementation of initiatives across the stakeholder landscape within Global Logistics and Distribution will be one of your primary responsibilities. Additionally, you will play a key role in contributing and participating in other sustainability projects, focusing on areas such as process standardization, savings, and related initiatives.

 

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant academic background (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in climate change, sustainability, engineering, or natural sciences
  • Substantial experience in managing projects within a large organization, involving cross-functional coordination and high complexity. This experience should include significant collaboration with external parties and management.
  • Preferably, the candidate should possess insight into pharmaceutical and logistic processes.
  • Demonstrate substantial knowledge of sustainability requirements and opportunities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate should excel in stakeholder management, enjoy cultivating enduring relationships across networks, and be adept at facilitating value-adding discussions through a strategic and comprehensive approach.

 

About the department
Global Logistics & Distribution (Global L&D) is a central function in the Supply Chain organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional Supply Chain systems and processes. We are app. 70+ employees in Bagsværd (DK) and 15 in Bangalore (India) .
 The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the fiscal impact. Furthermore, we have responsibility for in- and outbound warehouses in the Product Supply network. 
 While taking the responsibility for global distribution, Global L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
