The Position
As a Project Manager and Raw Materials and Solvents (RMS) Lead, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own organisation as our project progresses through various phases and into operations. You will lead a diverse team responsible for the construction, commissioning, validation and subsequent operations of all systems and equipment associated with the handling of raw materials and solvents such as solids, solvents, acids and bases.
Your team will be responsible for the preparation of all stock solutions, buffers and the provision of solvents for the recovery process within M3 an end-to-end, state-of-the-art, highly automated, large-scale API manufacturing facility. You will collaborate closely with our own sub-team, EPCM partner, construction management team, utilities team, cleaning team, process team, automation team and suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building a highly effective and skilled RMS team.
• Leading the resolution of all technical issues related to the final design.
• Managing the installation and qualification of all RMS systems.
• Being responsible for the functionality, cGMP compliance, cost and schedule of all RMS systems.
• Ensuring operational readiness and developing a comprehensive understanding of RMS operations with our team.
• Contributing to and taking on cross-functional tasks within Recovery.
You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including leading technical and qualification issues, contract management, project planning and reporting to senior management.

As a successful candidate, we imagine you have:
• Full cycle experience of at least one capital project in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in life science.
• An academic degree in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical process technology.
• A proven track record of direct or indirect people management and some coaching experience, as you will be working with a newly formed team.
• Business fluency in English.

The Project Manager - RMS Lead M3 Recovery role is part of the M3 project, which is Novo Nordisk's largest investment project to date. This project is located in Kalundborg, Denmark, where we are designing and building future API facilities as multi-product plants. The M3 team is a diverse group of over 300 talented colleagues from more than 30 different nationalities.
